- A consistent, caring and welcoming environment where all children are valued and celebrated, and all adults respected.
- A caring environment where children feel they can take responsibility for their own actions.
- An inclusive project where each individual feel respected and valued.
- Each child will aim to become cooperative, friendly, happy, enthusiastic, willing, collaborative member of the playground.
-Staff at Woodgate Adventure Playground value children of different abilities and support inclusion.
- The playground will ensure that activities are barrier free and do not exclude any children.
- At Woodgate Adventure playground we offer a range of activities to ensure children with additional needs are able to demonstrate their achievements appropriately.

Safeguarding children in an open access provision.

We make it clear in our information and registration that our facilities are free of charge staffed play provision, not childcare, parents should not use us as that.
All children registered at the playground, and necessary information is obtained. The form is signed by a responsible parent / guardian including the "open access" policy on the reverse side stating that they understand:
- "Open access" refers to Child centred play provision where children are free to come and go and staff are not empowered to stop them.
- If a child needs to leave the playground an agreement is in place between the parent and child that the child can return to a designated place of safety.
- The parents / carers keep their information supplied to the playground is up to date at all times. Emergency contact numbers have to be contactable at all times.
- Once a child leaves the premises, they are no longer the responsibility of playground staff.
- If it becomes apparent that a child is being left in contradiction of the "open access" policy the parent / guardian will be advised that this is not appropriate provision for their child and will be directed to the Children's Centre for advise on alternatives.

Behaviour Policy

In a single click, photographers breathe life into stillness. Every image narrates, crafting stories beyond words. A glance, a landscape, a fleeting moment—each frame etches its own chapter.

Through lenses, storytellers emerge. Visual tales unfurl in composition, lighting, and angles. Photographs are canvases painted with emotions, inviting us to relive experiences frozen in time.

In today's digital age, pixels replace paper, yet the essence remains. Photographs bridge eras, shared across screens and albums, stitching past to present.

These frames bridge generations. Family albums archive histories. Amid life's chaos, photos halt time, inspiring reflection and gratitude. They weave the ordinary into life's rich tapestry.

Please note that we have many more policies, if you would like to see a certain policy or see more, please contact the playground.
